I would rather see Massamba and or Evans than Boswell. When he’s in the game we are going 4 on 5. I don’t want to witness that again this year

Would def be an offensive liability...I expect Burg and Abram to step up and get most of the minutes. Hopefully just Rick sending a message - we will see

It's not questioning CRB...It's about grappling with the possibility that Boswell may be the best option at SG for over 20 min a game.

I don’t see the concern for a prolific scorer at the 2 as Ament and Gillespie are happy to take plenty of shots.

Not prolific but you have to have an efficient 3-pt threat for spacing (which Burg & Abram are). Otherwise, we will see even harder hedging than we did last year with Mashack and our O will be playing 4 vs. 5. And I know they want Boswell to be the Mashack defender but he just hasn't shown that level of disruption for an opposing team to merit the imbalance.

The Bosewell thing is tricky to predict.

Barnes will reward players for hard work, defense and attitude. And use them to motivate others.

Uros comes to mind. He started over 40 games and averaged less that 14 minutes in those games.

Exactly...which is why I'm not worried ultimately - just surprised Abram needs motivation and/or improvement in his D (Burg gets a pass since he arrived late).
