Word is Sam Bradford is coming in with one of TN/Baylor mega boosters for the game(both who are great buddies w Heupel). And they both are coming in with PM and Baker Mayfield on Sat after the Baylor Knox Catholic game on Friday night. That would be a heck of a sideline lineup for a high school football game.

So everyone ( almost) is calling for Heup to fire Banks because the Defense sucks and if he don’t they will be saying he won’t make the necessary moves to win championships.
So when BK makes coaching changes on his underachieving team it’s , “always everyone else’s fault “!

Not a BK fan but isn’t that what we’d expect the HC to do if your team is falling way short of expectations??

I think they already would have, considering it was openly reported in 2021. With AP saying it was a primary reason Kevin Steele wasn't considered.

Remembering the political winds of 2021, it's not as if the university was eager to shy away from that narrative anyway.

I believe that is what happened. And I ardently objected at the time. Whether it was Danny White or Plowman pushing that.

However, I don't really see the point of hammering that drum now. Even if Banks was a DEI hire, was he also a DEI retainee for four consecutive seasons? If not, it's on Heupel. No reason to use that stuff to make Banks look bad now. His defense does that every weekend.

Like I've said before, I do not believe Banks ever should have seen the 2023 season.

Tried to tell you guys Plowman was not the perfect princess. This is true.

Plowman has been the best President since I can remember. Maybe Joe Johnson. No one is perfect, and she helped turn around a **** show. I’m sure Randy Boyd has input as well.

Full court press is an understatement from what I have heard around Chattanooga and Knoxville. The rumor is the TN booster from Baylor doesn’t miss when engaged.
