Amazing that just a few years ago Arizona seemed like one of the biggest up and coming programs. What a drastic fall!Really embarrassing when you scrimmage a D2 team and lose as West Texas A&M beats Arizona 60 to 57. Of course it does not count, but you have to know your team is in for a very tough season.
Spot on. Geno is damned healthy along with his staff…CD 41 years, Jamelle Elliott 30 years, and Morgan Valley of more than 25. Berube is a northeastern woman, really smart, and a class act. My dark horse guess is Morgan Valley.Would you leave with Sarah Strong having three more years. Blanca having four years. The big O having four years starting next year. Most of his roster is young. Can’t see him leaving anytime in the foreseeable future. I have a feeling that it will not be Shea Ralph, but it will be Karla Berube.
Freshman Makeer had 17 points, she looked ready. Okot had 17/15. Anderson was a very short team, but Okot is no stiff, very athletic and runs the floor fast.SC over Anderson 112 to 31, Anderson is rated number 78 in Division two. Looks like they dominated inside in this game Edwards with 27 and Okot with 16. Latson 14 points in this game. They play NC on October 30th in an exhibition I guess if NC decides to play a whole game.
Morgan Valley is not head coach material. In the 20 years since she left UConn she has been an assistant coach at 8 or 9 schools. Her one head coaching gig she had a 4 and 37 record. Berube and Ralph are both good coaches, but I think that UConn will look for the best available coach and not limit their search to Auriemma's coaching tree.Spot on.
