These are kids and the same way they want flashy pics and uniforms, they want everything tight and looking good. Do you think young stud football players feel more connected to a Marcus freeman or a Josh heupel?

I would never have brought the topic up, but I do think there may be something there. Wouldn’t hurt him to try the gym or cover up the turkey neck with a beard.

I walked into my gym this week and there was a new trainer. I took one look and knew I was not asking him for any help. Made me think of y’all.

Currently on pace to have his highest rated recruiting class since he’s got here…

Vol football is back to where it needs to be - in the hunt every year

There's nothing wrong with pointing out someone presents themselves like a bit of a slob, and Heupel does.

The idea that there is something bad about noticing that is silly. Not only is it fine to notice it, it's good. Personally, I'm completely over this PC idea that it is wrong to enforce reasonable and good social standards, like people in public-facing professions presenting themselves as such.

With that said, just win the damn games. I can't make a serious case that Heupel refusing to shave his neck, being overweight, and not doing anything about that cough he's had for 4 years is causing us to lose games. So whatever. But it doesn't mean I have to act like I don't notice those things, either.

He doesn't have a likeability issue with players.
