This is his first program he’s underperformed at. Do you even watch college football? Lmao.

Anyone calling his time at Notre Dame a failure doesn’t know ball
Yeah, Kelly has had success at every place he’s been prior to LSU. He was the most successful coach at Notre Dame since Lou Holtz. The one knock on him was not winning a championship. Kelly has never fit in at LSU and has definitely underperformed. Wouldn’t surprise me to see him take the Penn State job.

You know what’s wild about LSU. They were all in on Lincoln Reilly who wanted nothing to do with the SEC and then pulled Kelly out of their ass and it was a great hire. Culture fit but great hire at the time.

Wonder if Reilly wishes he didn’t turn them down or leave OU considering the Big10 jump and insane travel that comes with it.

LSU if they fire Kelly will be the top open job quickly.

Riley would have been very successful there.

Add buyouts for his staff & it’s close to $60mil plus add the amount for new coach & staff. That’s a lot of Raisin Canes chicken.

Ordinarily I'd agree. However, the university doesn't have a president and their AD isn't exactly in a stable spot. We've all seen how dysfunction in the admin level can make a job very unattractive

I think they will. Especially after a 4th loss vs. Bama.

I biew the LSU job like Penn State. Flush with talent and recruiting prowess. Penn State chose to rip the bandaid off right away and got a jump start. LSU doing the same would be costly but they would easily be the best job suited for someone to win immediately.

They will after a loss to Bama, and the 4th this season.

Fans were chanting "Fire Kelly" near the end of the game.

Everyone in the GroupMe for my MBA program is done with him.

LSU is one of a handful of programs that doesn't even have to recruit out of state and should be in playoff contention yearly.

Franklin would make sense in Cajun Country. Not sure he wins big games there either, but his personality works for that culture down there. He would fit in.

Plus that's another $70 million buyout for one of our SEC rivals.
