I don’t think he realizes how bad we are on defense. Seems like he’s not worried about it. Not good.

I assume he's trying to publicly support the players . He could say , yeh we aren't doing a good job coaching right now. We gotta get it together, or something to that effect. He's too rah rah for his own good. There's a lot of ass dragging going on right now.

Now, I am not a Banks fan at all….but didn’t we make the CFP last year and thus were “competing for a championship” a year ago with Banks?

I haven’t watched Oklahoma this year, but you know if Venables has the people, he’ll come up with a plan for defense next week. I hope they can’t hear and I hope TN defense plays lights out. Here’s to a great week of prep

Looking at defensive improvements from game 1 this season, I don't see any. If anything they are playing worse since they got the 2 linemen back. I can't say they do anything well on defense. Earlier they were getting sacks but those are gone now. There main goal seems to be resting the offense by allowing 8 minute drives. They should let Boo Carter play on offense. Thats right, put him in a few series at offensive guard.

Are you serious !? Do you not see our defense being shredded weekend after weekend ? We just had a marathon game because our D cannot get off the field ?

At least our offense finally executed well and scored when the should have. We also should have scored 50+ against MSU and Arky, but we didn’t because of stupid penalties and turnovers. Today, we executed well offensively. And unfortunately, that’s what we have to do every week because our D is very bad.

Do you expect people to be happy about giving up 30+ to a historically bad Kentucky offense?

Hard to be too mad about a three score conference win, especially after squeaking it out against State and Arky, but some disgruntlement is understandable.

Defense is what it is at this point. It's not getting better. I'll take old school PAC12 shootout victories over losses. Hopefully the offense stays hot.

I take it you’re disappointed with a comfortable conference win. You do you. Maybe they’ll suck next week I have no idea. They were good enough to get the blowout tonight. But maybe it wasn’t a blowout because the defense wasn’t good again?

Apparently I should not. Fair enough. The defense isn’t good, I don’t think anyone is arguing that at this point. Offense needs to be good enough and outside of last week, they have.

Well, we got the win and the game was over at half as KY never got closer than 14 after the break. D still concerning but nothing you can do at this point but play the younger guys.

Well it’s a win. TX needed OT to beat them last week so I’m glad it wasn’t in question. Most importantly went got the W and keep advancing. We have many liabilities w DBs.
