'25 Recruiting Forum: Official Tennessee versus Kentucky Pre-game/Game Thread

Assuming behind Davis who just got a TD. TE have at least 3 rec tonight and that’s even when they are not stopping the WR. Appears we will have to agree to disagree which is fine. I still say if Davis had been healthy he would be highly utilized.
Question was why not TE more. Example I gave was Brame last week. Keep up!

The defense is predictably unpredictable.

They will play lights out in one of the two remaining quarters, proving they have the talent to do it.

Starting to make me wonder if there strife between Heup and Banks…probably started with GA game.

Heup also need to realize you have to spend NIL dollars on LB and Secondary in the off season. Need a true 2 deep across the board to really compete for titles.
Don’t we have to top 7 linebackers committed for this class?

We have utilized the tight end quite a bit this year. Have tried to utilize it a lot more but Kits tips the ball for interceptions. If Davis had been healthy so far we probably would be using it even more. I agree we had not been but the last couple years I think we have done a much better job of it.
If you think we use tight ends well in the passing game, then you have set a pitifully low bar to clear. It's laying on the turf.

Redmond has unfortunately regressed as the season has gone along.

Get out of Lexington with a W.

OU will shread this D next week and OU will get enough stops to win unless something significant changes on D.

It’s been like this under Banks. We get momentum and they lay an egg, happened 3 times in this game as an example. Also they are never good when giving up the first 1st down which tells me they are mentally soft.

Go get Indiana’s D coordinator or someone like it with the talent you can have at TN.

The ratings of the guys out there just isn't the problem.

Especially at ILB.

It would be much easier to explain if all of our problems were just on the outside with Ty Redmond getting picked on. It's damn near everyone. The interior is consistently playing well. Everyone else is a problem.

Dave Aranda, Floridas DC just a couple off the top of my head. There will be good ones available
