That was actually one of Heupel's better jobs of clock management. He lost a few seconds, but way better than usual.
This whole clock management problem is a this year thing. What he did there he has done many times since he's been here.

Maybe it's a product of thinking if the defense goes back out there with more than 10 seconds it will be points.

That feels better. Still feel like **** because of the defense though. Feels like we invested in two really good CB’s that are both out, and we also invested in Boo and he has not progressed and likely been a bad investment. Having so many freshmen playing on defense right now is killing us. It’s not like it’s a bunch of 5 stars you can’t keep off the field either
Right, but this scheme/call does not seem to be adapting.

You saying we don’t use the right end here? Feel like there has been a great emphasis last couple years on using the right end. Even in the running game.
We use the “right end” plenty. We don’t utilize tight ends well, and we never have. Even Witten should have been used far more in the passing game than he was. Other teams use talented tight ends as a real weapon. They’re an afterthought at UT.

Where is Brame, after last week, as an example.
