The alternative was tackle him and run the clock down to 2 seconds and call TO for the game winning fg. Hell they could’ve ran another play and scored the td after that. They had options. I’m not sure what options or strategy USCjr should’ve played for.

How many times have we seen bama one way or another miraculously get a play like that or one handed right to them by the refs. Our defense forced a punt or turnover on a majority of the possessions Bama had. Our offense which averages 38 ppg in conference gave 9 points to Bama while scoring almost half their average. There is nothing about the Bama loss that I can sit here and say “yeah, defense was a significant reason we lost”
