This bama team is more lucky than good. Flaws all over the place. But that’s honestly most sec teams this year.

There really isn't a dominant team - the question is whether these SEC teams are as good at the B1G teams. And that is very hard to tell because the only match up was OSU and Texas and well - Texas is not looking that elite right now.

To be honest, if we had any of their pathetic schedules, we would be 11-1 at worst and look just as dominant.

I would like to believe that but not sure that’s the case. This is as weak as the sec has been in a long time and our defense is just downright awful. Our offense is only as good as the coaching allows. Blowing what should be an easy win, squeaking by bad teams, and squandering any chance to beat a decent team. I’ve never bought into the conference superiority stuff and even less so now.

Yet they played well enough to win had our offense just played to their average or even slightly below. Last week was literally the worst combination of things that could happen. Defense plays decent for a change while forcing a takeaway and the offense coughing up 9 points and Heupel making brain dead decision to chase points way too early in the 3rd quarter.
