MAGA podcaster and former West Wing aide Steve Bannon suggested in a recent interview that a plan exists for President Donald Trump to attempt to defy the Constitution and seek a third term in office in 2028.

"Trump is going to be president in ’28, and people just ought to get accommodated with that," he told The Economist on Oct. 23.

Though Bannon, who served a four-month stint in prison last year and has pleaded guilty to separate fraud charges, isn't empowered in the White House like he was during Trump's first term, he indicated there are "many different alternatives" for keeping his former boss in the presidency.

"At the appropriate time, we’ll lay out what the plan is," Bannon said. "But there is a plan."

Cool story bro. Frankly, I doubt the Big Orange Grifter will survive through the end of his current "presidency", but he will NEVER serve a 3rd term if he does. Of course Bannon wants to try to break the Constitution... he's a disenfranchised punk bitch wanna-be who got fired by Grifter. His likely bourbon-induced drivel "plan" probably involves an election where Vance is the Republican Prez "candidate" who publicly agrees in advance to step down if he wins, thereby making his VP candidate (Trump) the new President - clearly violating the spirit and intent of the 22nd Amendment.

This would undoubtedly come before SCOTUS which would overturn such Executive action... OR...

Democrats would say, OK, if Trump is going to run for a third term then Obama's going to run for a third term. And rest assured, Obama would beat his ass like a drum.

So enjoy your pipe dream.

US President Donald Trump has not ruled out the possibility of seeking a third term for the White House, saying he would "love to do it".

But Trump rejected the possibility of running for vice-president in 2028 - an idea floated by some supporters as a way for him to circumvent the US constitution that bars the president from running for a third term.

Speaking to reporters during his trip to Asia, Trump described the idea as "too cute" and said it "wouldn't be right".

It is unclear what method he would use to run again. Last week, former Trump strategist Steve Bannon said that a "plan" was in place to secure the 79-year-old president another term.

The 12th amendment bars him from being Vance's VP, because under the 22nd amendment he's ineligible to be president.

It's pretty clear what the plan is to anyone with half a brain cell. Dude just isn't going to allow for a peaceful transfer of power.

Maybe he’ll make up a story of how Russia wanted the next Democrat to be president. Complete with a fake dossier.
Naw, that would be treason. Even Trump would not go that far

When I was in 3rd grade, the Constitution was still respected by the American people and defended by the American armed forces. I know I'm showing my age here.

It's too bad that you didn't actually read it back then.

Maybe you should try reading it now?

Read the 12th and 22nd amendments twice for good measure.

The Constitution is like the New Testament. Many millions of Americans talk about them as if they're sacred documents, but nobody honestly gives a 💩 about them. In fact, it seems the people who read them the most care the least, like the obese, tattooed, devout Christian single mom in the video in the other thread, talking about raiding Walmart to steal junk food. 😅

It's what Lt. Col. Davis was talking about in this video. Not the New Testament part, just the Constitution and our laws.
