I think this parity at the top of leagues is going to lead to some interesting matchups. I just hope the committee keeps politics out of it. Ha ha. No I don't hope that. I'm not insane. I can't expect that based on history.

If they didn't want to put a thumb on the scale I figure they would still let a computer figure it all out. It did seem like it took less time to reach the inevitable with the BCS. I mean was anyone surprised Notre Dame made the title game last year? Not did they deserve to be there. Doesn't deserve discussion. And Ohio State had a stacked roster with depth, and do again unfortunately.

So, interestingly, he got aggressive clearly in FG position, and the holding penalty put it back to a 52 yard attempt. Just something to think about next time we are positioning for a game winning score.

Oklahoma losing that game makes playoffs at 10-2 murky at best.

10 teams in the SEC playing for most likely 4 spots.

If we go 10-2, we'll lose out on H2H to two teams, with our best win being over either a three loss Oklahoma or Vandy. Not great.

Vandy winning today would definitely help.

Agreed. I’ve been saying ever since the Bama loss that 2-losses doesn’t guarantee us anything because we don’t have a single signature win and we’ve yet to beat up a P5 team.
