Ordinarily, I would be for Ole Miss, but since we play OU next week, I don't want them to be desperate for a win. .... Rather they be overconfident! ;)

OU winning would do things. Likely get them to Top 10 or higher and would knock Ole Miss to the 2 loss line.

Beating OU would give us a Top 10 win while knocking OU to the 2 loss line.

I don't think we did because of wetness. I think they grew out the grass that was causing issues like crazy. I remember on Donte's long touchdown he was kicking up grass every step he took.
Yeh that's right. I was thinking they wet it down, but it was because they let it grow out to try to slow us down .

I remember our game against Notre Dame where they did the same thing in 2005. Not sure it was designed to slow us down specifically, but I remember the grass being long long long

They did that for the USC game as well. They had nearly a month between home games before USC and never cut the grass in hopes of slowing them down. Charlie Weis even admitted as much. I believe they mowed it after the game, then let it grow again until the Tennessee game was over.

That was such a funny game cause it was right after Fulmer let Sanders go and Fulmer took over playcalling the rest of the season.

Well. That top in The country OU defense is looking like the squad that played Texas. So far.

And back to reality for UCLA even if this is the wrong thread.
