They are the one program that can go toe to toe with an SEC schedule every year and actually compete for the conference championship. I would love to see Indiana have to play Alabama and Georgia every year. And then throw in an Oklahoma, Texas, LSU, Florida, etc on top of that. The margin between strengths of schedules is light years apart.

I didn’t have much of a complaint with how the final standings were last year other than ND. That NIU loss should have counted as 2 losses. It was the format that myself and most people hated. Having Boise State and Arizona State leap frogging everyone because they won their conference championship was not fair. The CFP committee just ranks the teams. The schools agreed to that BS seeding format.

There will not be much arguing when they go to the 24 team format...it's coming.

Elizabethton is about 45 minutes away from North Carolina. Clarksville is 20 minutes away from Kentucky. We have so many states around us, it’s not a long drive to get to “the next state over”. It’s a shorter drive for me to go to a Braves game than it is a Titans game. Only a 30 minute difference for my drive to Neyland than Truist. I feel like I live in a nice middle ground 🤷‍♂️

Downtown maybe, Clarksville literally borders the TN/KY line.
