This is exactly like left wingers complaining about wealth redistribution. Instead of wealth right wingers get upset at benefits they don't get. Actually they do get them and its just cut off the nose to own the libs.

Libs hate people who make more money than them. MAGA hates people who get benefits they don't, especially if an employer gave them.

The Trump administration plans to funnel a $130 million donation from an anonymous ally of President Donald Trump toward paying military service members during the government shutdown, the Defense Department confirmed on Friday.

“The donation was made on the condition that it be used to offset the cost of Service members’ salaries and benefits,” chief Pentagon spokesman Sean Parnell said in a statement to CNN, adding that the money was accepted under the department’s “general gift acceptance authority.”

Wtf? Sounds like someone wants the military beholden to them personally.

Probably. That wouldn't make much difference here so not sure how it would help. Takes 3 to 5 years to become a certified controller so you cant just fire them and bring newbs in.

I understand all of that but if ATC was in the hands of private enterprise the systems would be modernized to where we'd probably need 1/2 or less of current staffing.

This comes out to about $62 per service member. It is definitely not what it is purported to be. Just more bribes.
