I was lucky enough to be on the field in 2022 in Athens for that huge matchup. When we kicked the first field goal everyone was high fiving and somehow the people on Tony’s left and right each turned away to celebrate with the people standing beside them. He saw me standing behind him and outstretched for a first bump. I will never forget that moment and I know he didn’t know who the heck I was, but I was so happy before it all went downhill. He was so animated far after everyone else started hanging their heads. Dude loved the university.
I'm not really mad at anyone over Tony leaving because I no longer approach sports like I'm entitled to anything, but it's impossible to be mad at Tony. Especially without knowing any of the pertinent details. We know what was public and we also know that different parties plant things in public for one reason or another and you can't always depend on them being accurate.
Like Florida media gassing up UF fans to expect Kiffin and Kentucky media gassing up basketball fans to think they have the biggest NIL budget in the country.
The best part about living alone by myself is that I went home after work and drunk a 6 pack of miller lite while eating peanut butter straight out of the jar and absolutely no one stopping me from doing so
This seems so petty to me. So what if most of Ole Miss' alumni are dead?
In all seriousness, this is more Gator cope. You think it's bad now? Wait until Not-Lane-Kiffin gets hired at Florida. The media is gassing them up to expect this guy. They are setting themselves and the fans up.
I've really enjoyed watching ACC games this year. The way they do reviews should be standardized across all of college football. I like the transparency.
I remember this happening and it looked the same live as it does in retrospect. I don't remember the coach saying this though. First time I had heard that.
