I think one thing leagues can do to help combat these betting scandals is doing away with game-time decisions regarding injuries. Teams generally know if players are going to play and there is way too much money involved nowadays to allow them to keep doing the gamesmanship stuff trying to psych out their opponents. I know there are a lot of back to backs in MLB, NBA, and NHL so a 24hr window is hard to implement but there should at least be a decision 12 hours prior to a game on whether a player can go or sit. I know it won’t solve everything but it’s something
