In light of the major news coming out of the NBA and organized crime , I think it's finally time for one of the most corrupt organizations to be investigated.

It wouldn't take long to crack the code that's for sure. Just start in a place that is sandwiched between Mississippi, Tennessee and Georgia and work your way out from there......

I have little doubt it goes on to some degree. Maybe even more problematic is that in light of the horrible officiating across all games, the no calls and mystery penalties, it could likely be centered among SEC officials. Not going to impugn them all, but some things don’t make sense till it makes sense.

It won't happen. Not in the next few years anyway. All are deep red states

Plus, it's a hoax🤣

I read once that there was not a law or rule against SEC officials gambling. If that is the case the SEC needs to change that yesterday. Either way, the DOJ needs to look at the financial accounts of officials in the light of some of the bizarre game calls this season.

I did a deep dive on this subject a few minutes ago.

This SEC does not "Explicitly" ban betting, there is verbiage out there in the rule books against "Conflicts of Interest".

The NCAA does however Explicitly ban gambling in any sports sanctioned by them.

> “Betting, legally or illegally, on sports in which the NCAA conducts a championship.”

With that being the Case. I guess unless it is enforced by the NCAA. Good luck.

Is that Securities and Exchange Commission or Southeastern Conference?

t isn’t just this season. It’s been going on for years. Like I’ve always said the only officials worse than sec football refs are sec basketball refs.

I hate to break it to you, but if there was gambling involved then the gamblers would make way more money throwing the games in favor of the UNDERDOG, not keeping Bama and Georgia propped up 😂 but my guess is that since you made this post to begin with, logic isn't your strong suit. unless the mafia boss's name is Cletus J Johnson from Bessemer Alabuba 😂😂😂😂

Looks like it’s starting to unravel for the SEC. It appears investigations are starting and hopefully arrest will be made this weekend or the start of next week. Hopefully this goes straight to the top including the commissioner.
Gambling has ruined organized sports as we are seeing starting with the NBA, NFL and now SEC football. Weak leadership and $$ in the eyes has caused this debacle.
Long jail sentences hopefully will stop this nonsense.

The NCAA does how ever Explicitly ban gambling in any sports sanctioned by them.

We can only hope.

Oh you mean like that TD at the end vs bama that didn't count and wasn't reviewed (as all scoring plays are supposed to be) OR the obvious biased officiating?
I thought it looked like he scored. That would have ruined the over/under. I hate gambling. People I know that are not stupid, are stupid when it come to gambling. Why enter a contest you are predetermined to lose?

No... no. They would bet in favor of the FAVORITES to make money. Duh. I'm assuming logic isn't YOUR strong suit? Gawd, no one knows how a betting scandal is supposed to be set up!

Tell me you don’t have a clue how gambling works without telling me…

Do we get more Ill timed calls? Do other teams seem to get a pass ? I think both statements are true but with that being said I really don't watch every game with the same mindset as i do with the Vols.
