every CTV player is saying Elander so I hope not to witness the blow back if it anyone else. I thought aTm would have taken Elander after Schloss abandoned em so we are lucky he is still on staff. Not condoning it, but do you think Danny’s hire gets Schiano’d if it’s not Elander? I’ve not seen a single person want anybody else.
What's so crazy about having associate level AD employees involved?Todd Helton I can see, but deputy athletics director and chief marketing officer Alicia Longworth, associate athletics director of administration Tyler Johnson and deputy athletics director and chief competitive officer Marshall Steward being on the committee?
Wasn’t just TX A&M either. MS State fans also talked openly about wanting him as did South Carolina fans for their open HC jobs. I know quite a few South Carolina fans who want him as soon as Manieri is gone.every CTV player is saying Elander so I hope not to witness the blow back if it anyone else. I thought aTm would have taken Elander after Schloss abandoned em so we are lucky he is still on staff.

Elander, much like Anderson, has been with the program since the 2018 season (Vitello’s first in charge at Tennessee). Per White, the decision came down to Anderson having head coaching experience and wanting Elander to craft his candidacy for the position in the future.
Agree. Earley wasn't even the best assistant coach on Schloss' staff at A&M. The pitching coach was much more highly thought of than Earley. Really not comparable situations in my opinion. Our in-house guy has been linked to SEC jobs the last 2 cycles. The only difference is that our “in-house” guy is good
