I thought it was pretty dumb to say anything about it at all. He's pretty protective over his hires (more likely being protective over people questioning his decisions).

I saw Megadeth in 98 in Knoxville and Anthrax two years prior with the crappy version of the MIsfits. Kind of hard to believe they are still rockin on. Bruce Dickinson with Maiden is probably close to 70 now.

You mean addressing the rumor that the major issue was directing baseball funds to WBB? I don't guess I blame him since many of the knives out for him stemmed from that rumor.

It's hilarious that Gator fans have spent the last week arguing vehemently that the Ole Miss job isn't better than the Florida one and here comes Dan Dang Mullen saying the UNLV job is a better job than the Florida one.

“I wanted a place where I didn't have to start from scratch,” Mullen said. “I mean, I had nothing like this at Florida. I built one of these at Florida, right? I had to. I got there, raised every penny, and built the whole facility. There is nothing like this there. And so, like, I don't want to go somewhere where I just start from scratch. When you come here and you look at Allegiant Stadium, check. You come through this facility and you're like, check, we have a premier facility, especially at our level.

Megadeth> Metallica, I never got into post Mustaine Metallica, but like their early stuff with him. Common denominator.

Funny he is trying to Pooh on the Gators but then adds “at our level” referring to his own team.
