The Atlanta Braves

Watched the full DW presser and that's a rare L from him in terms of PR. I can't believe he volunteered the fact that he didn't work as closely with TV as one of his sports administrators does, when TV reported directly to DW. He then goes on to state that he basically never talks to or has any relationship whatsoever with Josh Elander or any assistant coach. While he thanked and acknowledged what TV had done for the baseball program, he went on to talk about recruiting at a couple of other instances like the efforts of the AD had most or everything to do with that, kind of glossing over the fact that the reason that kind of money was coming into the program and UT being able to land those kinds of recruits is because of TV.

The "we should all collectively apologize to KC and our women's basketball program" was a strange, overly defensive statement, basically admonishing the group of reporters who were there, none of whom I don't think had actually reported that.

Having said that, a lot of the supposed quotes and paraphrases going around on Twitter from it are wrong. DW never said he had no relationship with TV, or never talked to TV.

Also realized that in the studio defaulted my mic to my headphones and not my actual microphone. That’s my fault. Thank god the editing cleaned it up

Sounds like another Jontay Porter situation:
Sportsbooks in multiple states flagged suspicious betting interest on Rozier's statistics ahead of a Charlotte Hornets-New Orleans Pelicans game on March 23, 2023. An unexpected surge of bets -- including 30 wagers in 46 minutes from a professional bettor totaling $13,759 -- came in on the under on Rozier's points, rebounds and assists, causing sportsbooks to halt betting on the veteran guard. Rozier, then with the Hornets, played just 10 minutes before leaving the game, citing a foot injury.
