They definitely need one more bigger ballhandler. Even when DFS comes back and they go with Amen/Reed as the primary ball handlers with Sengun in the halfcourt, they need another creator.

DFS will get a lot of minutes but Smith, Eason, and DFS are gonna be doing a lot of sharing of crunch time minutes.

I already really liked Dylan Harper and after one game, I was right. I haven't checked his stats, but Harper has really impressed me, for whatever that's worth. Spurs look like a 50 win, stone cold playoff đź”’, to me.

Edit: oh yeah, Castle is a future All-Star, too

Giving Billups the benefit of the doubt, and applying the extensive knowledge of the mafia I've gained from TV and movies...

- Billups probably wanted help running high stakes games (collecting).
- Once he partners up, they own him, so they blackmail him into inviting his rich friends to get cheated.

This all started before he was employed by any team, just working broadcasts. Now that he works for a team, it compromises him, but he couldn't get out. Hell, maybe he did get out and this is just past sins catching up to him.

The NBPA issued a statement that echoed that sentiment. The organization stressed that "the integrity of the game is paramount," but also called out the FBI for using Rozier and Billups' names as a way to draw more attention to the arrests.

“The integrity of the game is paramount to NBA players, but so is the presumption of innocence, and both are hindered when player popularity is misused to gain attention. We will ensure our members are protected and afforded their due process rights through this process."

What a tone deaf statement by the NBPA. If true, Billups' involvement was, in part, due to his popularity.

Billups' presence at those games was meant to legitimize them and make "victims believe that they were sitting at a fair table," New York City police commissioner Jessica Tisch said Thursday. Billups was reportedly aware of the scam, per U.S. Attorney Joe Nocella.

Windhorst saying Billups involvement goes beyond the poker games…
