The thing that scares me is I think Elander can win on the field and on the trail, but I think Chris Burke can win the interview process...
Burke wanted it last time, thankfully it didn’t happen.

He is one of my all time favorite Vols across all sports, but he has never coached. So please no.

Of course if he gets the job, I will say he is the 2nd coming.

I love VFL Chris Burke, Tennessee head baseball coach Chris Burke...not so much

I got all of my frustration out earlier.
If I could, I’d wish Coach V all the luck and success he could ever want.
I hope Danny White makes the right hire and keeps this baseball thang going.
The only thing I’m still pissed about, is now I have to really start following the Giants!
The freaking Giants are THE one MLB team I truly do not like!!
😞

Good to hear it CW. Also, while my kids are sad about CTV leaving, the reality is that my boys were ages 7-14 and 5-12 during CTV’s time here, which is pretty great timing! I’m thankful for that.

It is and I’m so happy for them.
Much like Pat or Johnny for us, Tony V will always be their coach, even when they are old!
Mine just turned 13 and I know he will feel that way.

Tony V and Tennessee baseball are solely responsible for my son being a true baseball fanatic!
That kid eats, sleeps and breathes baseball, and it all started the night we were behind home plate and watched the grand slam ball, fly off of Drew Gilbert’s bat and disappear into the night sky!!
He’s been hooked every since.😎

I had tickets for that weekend but couldn’t make it. Gave them away to someone in the baseball forum.

And steer your son away from the Unamazing Mets.

LMAO I’m going through all the phases of a breakup!
Early today I was angry.
Now I’m reminiscing of all the good times.
Before bed I’ll be a sad, emotional wreck.
Then I’ll stay up all night eating chocolate and ice cream, while listening to Debbie Gibson albums.
Tomorrow I’ll feel guilt, like I could’ve cheered louder at games.
Tomorrow afternoon I’ll want revenge and look to key Tony’s car.

Tony Vitello contract with Giants is 3 years at $3.5 million a year...
That’s about what I expected it to be. If he goes and proves himself it will get bumped up into that $4-5M range. Good for him doing what he thinks is best for himself. If that fanbase does not treat him well, may God have mercy on their souls. Hell hath no fury like a Tennessee fan scorned.
