The fact that it isn't Elander signals that he's moving away from the Tony tree altogether. That's a horrible decision, imo.

I don’t think people understand. Interviews have to take place, it’s against the law in TN for them to just promote from within at a state school. So an interim will be named, “interviews” will take place as required and a hire made. Hopefully it’s Elander, as I think the program just continues to roll on down the tracks.

I think he will keep the team together this year and we’ll have the success. But I have no clue what will happen next. Gotcha. Idk what’s going on as been at work all day. I met you numerous times 3-4 yrs ago -Knoxville and Hoover vs Florida title game. But, I won’t say my name on here .

Didn’t mean to put you on the spot. I was asking if you thought he would be a possibility. I still think TN baseball will continue facing success. I bank a Spyree employee and he raved about TN baseball and supporting the program.

I’m happy for Kirby- I still wear the vollie fingers autographed jersey.

With Elander, there’s a hope to keep players and fan support. You go elsewhere, you’re taking a big risk with both.
