Why would you not want to interview multiple candidates? I know you and everyone else wants Elander, but that doesn't mean they can't do their due diligence and see who is interested in the job. Just because they interview others doesn't mean that Elander has no chance.

The Elander choice is safe because it keeps the current team together. They will stay and play for him this year. IF he's successful, then he can make the case to recruits that he was Tony's right hand man and they are moving the progress he made forward.

I don't think most fans understand how quickly this can go south if we lose the current team..

This is where the former players are VERY interesting.
