So it's just a coincidence UGA scored their most points against us, Miss State scored their most against us, and Bama scored their 2nd highest (by 2 points)? The only one that didn't score their highest was Arkansas, where still gave up 31.

God, I hope not. It is already frustrating that we lost to the Gumps and Puppies, but at least people sort of expect that nationally and respect those programs. Even a legitimately good Vandy team beating a school draws mockery from many across the country because they’ve historically been a joke.

Plus, I’d love it if TN wiped that cocky smirk off Pavia’s face!

I hope we beat Vandy but if we are being honest, Vandy is playing better football.

Since being head coach @ TN, Josh Heupel’s teams average 7-8 penalties per game . I think I read we average 9 per game in SEC play. We have way too many false starts, illegal man down field, hands to the face, or Not lining up correctly. Those are drive killers or keep the D on the field. That doesn’t include OPI-DPI penalties as that’s part of the game.

TN offense has regressed too. We have too many stalled drives b/c of dropped passes and getting behind the chains due to penalties, etc.

Vandy is playing w/ a swagger and with more confidence than most other teams. I was surprised how energized and fundamentally sound they were vs. Bama and LSU. Bama beat them but the game was much closer than the final score - two bad turnovers.
