What is this "reset" or this "something different" they are talking about? All one can get from the article is Talarico is just another far left extremist in a long line just like Pelosi and Biden.
He is not bringing anything new to the Dem table. The article says he is "Christian" but Pelosi and Biden were said to be "Christian" too. He is not old like Pelosi and Biden but still carries the same old failed, corrupt ideas of the Dem party. So what makes Talarico "new, fresh and different" even though he carries the same old failed policies of the far left?

Can you provide some support for Talarico's "far left policies?"

the article shows he is pro abortion, pro homosexual, pro socialism......I see very little that makes him standout from the old white Dems.

I did a little research about his border policy. Two AIs and other news articles CLAIM he is against open borders. Yet on his Facebook page dated Oct 26, 2023, he posted:

Not sure the "democratic" party can be salvaged at the national level. Parties are just a way of getting on national ballots (and historic marketing) but the leaders of the Republican party colluded (or worked in step) with the neocons on the other side. Which lead not only to Bush but really McCain and Romney. The Republican party leaders made it too obvious with McCain and Romney, which lead to Donald Trump destroying them. Donald Trump is a traditional northern democrat, yet that is what it took to destroyed them.

The Democrat party leaders weaponized the radicals, loons, and extremists which appears to now be a negative for the last few years, at least. I would say its kind of too late to break those leaders down and ultimately you have to kick all the loons back out. Its hard to imagine an easy way of doing that as the loons target will be them.

At the same time, these loons are now being weaponize on the opposite side.

I'm sure at the local and state levels especially in insane states like California the democrat party will be a thing, but they have a lot of work to do to reverse what they have done over the last 10-15 years on a national level. They're basically either losing voters to other parties or losing members by them simply not voting.

I guess its possible for them to take it back over easily, its just hard to envision how that can be done at this time.

I feel Donald Trump had a very hard task defeating the Republican Party neocon leaders, it took years, the problem with the Democrat party is much more complicated.

If people say, "Orange Man Bad", is that good for Trump/Vance/etc.? I would say yes. The mean tweets are meant to distract and weaponize, and it appears to worked rather well.

Basically, its dead internet theory, which to me isn't limited to just the internet or bots. (its creating false realities) That is why I bring up AI because over the last few years there has been talks of how AI not only will be a distorted version of reality, if you loop the feed back in, meaning AI output... over time the reality becomes even more distorted. Its creating it own alternative reality.

Same thing here it would appear from my POV. They created this alternative reality called ORANGE MAN BAD, people started rejecting it. They kept looping it through in which the reality of ORANGE MAN BAD continue to go to extreme levels, more people started rejecting it. Now, unless Donald Trump is Satan, it would be a major disappointment. So, who really believes that, the very extreme.

Now, you can use those extreme people through ads by making yourself appear to be an extreme ORANGE MAN BAD i.e. trolling/astroturfing. This will make more people that are salvageable know there is something wrong.

You really don't know what the intent of someone is on the internet unless you know them or have some reasonable history with them at best.
