After the Downing DUI, Vrabel went 6-18. Lost the next 8 games in a row (0-7 to close 2022 and lost the 2023 opener).

It's hard to believe they were sitting at 7-3 before that, and had gone 32-17 overall with 3 playoff appearances (and 2 playoff wins) the 3 seasons before that. I don't think the DUI itself had anything to do with why they played so bad after, but their collapse began immediately after that.
