Basilio is a freaking idiot..if you really love Tennessee, why would you do what he has done and try to create a giant rift?...that jackass loves nothing but himself and will say anything to inflame the Idiot Margin and drive up engagement.

Basilio sucks. If he even had any contacts, I bet Danny will be trying to shore things up more. He acts like he is in the know and he gets most of his information from boards.

Never heard anyone mention Vol baseball in my entire life until TV. It was fringe. Football is king and we need to he good at it. We don't need to be good at anything else except Lady Vol basketball, since we are as blueblood as it gets in that.

You never want to be bad, but if we were an afterthought in baseball for generations, it's f'n stupid for fans to complain about baseball the way they already have with an elite program and it will be even dumber when they complain if we aren't elite.

I assume its the old school football fans that are the irrational ones about baseball.

I think the biggest difference is that the dumbest people are also the loudest people on social media. In years past they would just tell their buddies now they can tweet it to the world. Everyone is also looking for clicks and followers so they can be an influencer. Nonsense reigns supreme in modern American society.

If Vitello stays, Pandora’s Box has been opened (in large part to our local media/fanbase)

Every major school that considers Baseball a high priority with an opening will be knocking on Tony Vitello’s door because they think/know now that he & the AD don’t have the best working relationship.

Johnny called them the "Legions of the Miserable" but Johnny also thought he was bigger than the program, so they probably deserved each other.

What's so bad about the local media, is that for years, all Knoxville sports media had was interlopers that disliked UT and were self-promoting, self-absorbed drama-mongers. Adams, Hyams, Strange, etc.
The typical homerism you get in college towns was completely absent outside the confines of the Vol Network and the local TV affiliate's sports departments.

We shall see! We’re way under scholarship limits right now and we will have a few leave and go to the NFL. This recruiting class is amazing and we should be able to go up to 105 next year. It’s time to go all out in the portal and go for a title next year. So I cub turmoil with coaching changes should make it easy to land some studs in the portal. Can’t be lazy again.

I could see this football season spinning in the wrong direction (would be a first real down season for Heupel). Thus, if we loose to the kitties, Oklahoma, and Florida, will minds explode? Of course, I could easily see it go the other way with us winning out and of course, beating the Gatas is always my biggest wish.

I didn't realize how stupid people are until I started reading comments on social media. It's kinda depressing to see how stupid the majority of younger people are.

As long as UK doesn't get to the redzone, we should be fine. Opponents in the redzone score TDs 82% of the time.
