Enjoy. I go to solo to Neyland when when the wife doesn’t go. I actually enjoy the quiet ride to and from Nash. And we all get along in my section.

I’m not sure going solo to KY would be smart.

Maybe. But I’m guessing there will be almost as much orange as blue in that stadium.

Never gone solo, but I've gone there twice with my wife and we had zero issues. They definitely don't like us, but they are casual toward football at best and it's a very one-sided rivalry. I think I might've heard a few "Tennessee sucks" calls (which was funny because several were after the game that we had already won) and some jokes about using my orange clothing for hunting season as well as attending football games (or something to that effect). But nothing serious. If you're on the fence I'd say go for it.

I will say one of my trips to Lexington was the 2007 game and I was almost certain that I was going to be trampled as they rushed the field until we blocked Sieber's kick. Turned out to be a great win.

I was at that game with my (ky) buddy. We ended up sitting w/ VFL Munoz in O/T.

One of their fans mouthed off to me when TN fans were chanting “sec” since we clinched the East. He

Is this the end of the trail for Stoops?
It should be, he is not getting it done. I get that he got them to be respectable again for a while and even had a couple of strong seasons by Kentucky standards. But he frequently plays not to lose, his teams act scared, and cannot get an efficient offense.

While I did appreciate that they rallied to tie it at the end of the fourth and surprisingly did not play to lose (they went for it on 4th down in OT instead of kicking the field goal) it was still classic Mark Stoops football to opt to run up the middle three or four times against a talented Texas defensive front instead of letting your QB throw it once or twice down there. Their RB tried to jump into the end zone on third and fourth down and was easily stopped both times!

Don’t be so predictable, go play action, throw a fade, run the QB, etc. But Mark Stoops is stubborn and predictable and as expected the Longhorns stuffed those runs.

Awesome, that game was a classic. I went to one of our games in Lexington before it was called Kroger Field. They were not very rowdy because most of them knew they weren’t very good that season (like most seasons).

Had a few people glare at me and a couple of women make annoying comments, but it wasn’t a bad experience. If it is a sport they are good at then the story is obviously different.

Box seats at Keeneland are more expensive than seats on the Tennessee side of Commonwealth Stadium Saturday night, this game is Kentucky's bowl game this year, I hope Alvin and the chipmunks have a plan in place
