What's hilarious to me (and what Vol fans are doing is hilarious too) is that there are plenty of ACTUAL SF Giants fan who don't want to see a college coach be the next hire for Giants manager. Probably would have been more effective to share those tweets. But less-funny admittedly.

Once again this is according to Schumpert, but based off what he said White he can hire his own guy who cans do just as good if not better than Vitello

Danny Dollars is a typical administrative bureaucrat - ADs are about compliance and dollars for the Athletic Department. Thing is there are very few ADs in major college that actually have positive feelings about NIL and revenue sharing. Each of those cut into their beloved budgets to fund their capital projects and such.

Tony V isn’t the 1st coach that perhaps goes around the AD. It’s no secret that Barnes has his own $$$ pipeline from big money boosters. It’s a tune as old as time. However the best and brightest ADs know a great thing when they have it. Bama’s AD gave Saban a very wide birth because he knew that he was a generational coach. Danny Dollars on the other hand well he created an environment which opened the door for Tony V to have his eyes open and ears to the ground. Tony isn’t Danny’s “Guy”.

And don’t me started on Danny Dollars smedium shirts and high water pants.

Having worked in the Metro NYC area for a while, I enjoyed the NYC sports reporters the day after a big loss in any sport.
Personally, I think the Jets would beat the Mets to the punch and hire TV as the first college baseball coach to be an NFL head coach

It has been entertaining to listen to with the Mets collapse, the Jets being putrid, and this week after the Giants historical loss.
