I was thinking this as well, it makes sense to play lineups that don’t include both Okpara and Cade

Which is why I said I think Cade sees the fewest minutes of the bigs, if Okpara is gonna play 25+mpg that means Cade is at 15mpg or less if you’re trying to avoid them out there together

Any reports on how Abrams and/or Burg looked in the scrimmage?

I think that two guard position is the key to our season. We are going to be stacked everywhere else. If one or both of those guys can come through and be very solid, we have a chance to do things this program hasn’t done before.

I’m not saying either has to be a star. But if they can play good defense and shoot at a high % from the outside to keep defenses honest, that would be exactly what we need to compliment the rest of this roster.

Be nice to steel a few minutes with Ament at the 2, Cade at the 3, JP at the 4 and Felix the 5. Would love to run a 1-3-1 with that length (6-10, 6-9, 6-11, 6-11).

Wouldn't be surprised if they tried this early in the season. Would be ridiculous length on the court.

Sure, I think I just expected Cade to be in the mix with minutes because of his position on the team as a junior/leader, and he's not a bad player of course, but I do think I'd be happy if he got the least of the bunch as I think skill-wise the others are bigger contributors on offense.

I kinda like Cade off the bench with all the energy he brings with him. I think Barnes is convinced he can play the 3, at least defensively Any wing that gives us some problems, Cade may be called upon to shut him down.

Love Carey’s size and girth. It will help our inside game. We needed some added strength in there. GBO

Getting Estrella back in there helps tremendously too. Exciting season ahead!
