I think he can possibly have a Mark Sears level impact and stats. Sears last year was 18.6 points PPG, 5 APG, 40/84/34.5 FG/FT/3 point percentages. Could see 16-18 PPG with better percentages than sears last year.

I’ve said before I think he could be similar to Walter Clayton for us, I think he’ll be a more efficient scorer than Sears as you mentioned.

I see some Clayton similarities. I'm beginning to think it isn’t far-fetched to think he will be our leading scorer, even as the PG. Two scrimmages and he has scored 30+ points. Feels like the offense is clearly running thru him at this point.

Gillespie seems intent on making himself a NBA draft pick. I knew he was good, but he may be better than anyone thought. Hopefully he gets to play some minutes off ball as well this year if coaches are confident enough in either Henderson or Burg to spell some minutes at PG.

Right Sears numbers 2 years ago way better compared to last year. I just wouldn't set realistic expectations at first team all American numbers. I could JG put up somewhere between Sears last year and Clayton last year numbers. If he's playing at Sears two years ago level then that's on par to Knecht level.
