All of it. Living in San Francisco and making the same amount of money (therefore much less after taxes and costs of living) and managing a bunch of multi millionaires all making more than me 162 freaking games a year sounds miserable in relation to making $3 million to live in Knoxville where you actually have control of your success. Let’s face it a MLB manager has the least amount of impact on any professional sports team and it’s not close. I think Tony is a horrible fit for a MLB manager but I get it that his ego would love to give it a try. He’s dragging his feet for some reason. Too each his own but I think it’s a much worse job than what he has.Which part(s) of this post do you actually believe?
Gator fans have been saying all year long "You make so-and-so say no." Yeah, well here is what happens when you get a no from a guy who's clearly out of your league: it leaks and you have egg on your face day one of your coaching search. Lane Kiffin ain't taking it either. Whoever does is probably doing it for the buyout. Like Billy.
How much time and energy does the SF Giants manager spend trying to wine and dine teenagers to convince them to come to UT to play baseball? How much time does the SF Giants manager spend raising and coordinating NIL funds? All of it. TAMU is 7-0. Bama, GA, OM, Mizzou, Vandy, and Oklahoma are 6-1. Texas, LSU, and us are all 5-2. How many SEC teams do you think make the playoffs? I'm guessing 4 at the most. There's a very real chance we could get left out at 10-2. We need certain games to fall our way.10-2 will make the playoffs Weezer. Absolutely no doubt. Getting to 10-2 is the challenge. ONE GAME AT A TIME. BEAT THE CRAP OUT OF THE KITTENS SATURDAY NIGHT AT KROGER IS STEP ONE.
Look at the current SEC standings and the games each team has. You'll see the possibility is there. You're drunk.
10-2 isn't just in the playoffs, it's likely top-8 with a home game.
Even with the dumb*** rules in place last year, we were 9th. Should've been higher and at home, with legitimate rules.
Last year we only had 1 ranked win going in. 10-2 this season would very likely mean 2 ranked wins.
It wouldn't even be close.
Nope. Everyone was saying the same nonsense last year. You do know we play both Vandy and Oklahoma don’t you. If we get to 10-2 then they each have at least 2 losses. Vandy and Missouri play this Saturday and one of them has to lose that game. We win out and we are easily in. Winning out is the risk.TAMU is 7-0. Bama, GA, OM, Mizzou, Vandy, and Oklahoma are 6-1.
