No Kings

Your statement seemed to more about the primary process.
My stance is the problem isn't with the process as much as with the poor choices of the voters.
If we're talking about my original reply where I modified your post, if you'll look carefully at that you'll see that I covered both elements

Ah got it. Excuse away the choices of your team and hold the other team accountable. The Dems actually had primaries in 16, 20, and 24 also (lol couldn’t type that without laughing out loud) and got just as horrible results as the Republicans did.
And I didn't vote for Hillary in the 2016 primary, Biden in the 2020 primary, nor Harris in the 2024 primary.

now the people who voted for trump in any or all of those primaries............................

So… you didn’t vote at all and want to rail against the results of the process you didn’t participate in. Got it.

This post???????
Not telling you how to live at all. Sharing how I choose to live.

I don't approach life that way. When I don't control the circumstances, I find it a waste of energy to conclude something should or should not happen. I have opinions about it happening, of course. So, again for me, my modification to your statement to better represent how i see it is:
the biggest problem is with our primary process and the lack of quality candidates who run.
Maybe I'm missing something. I don't see you addressing the voters at all.....only the choices they had.....big difference.

Ah wait I’m sure you voted in the primaries for Bernie all three times. Then pulled the blue lever in the general

The poor choices of the voters is equivalent to the poor choices of candidates.
If I intuitively try to figure out where the discrepancy is, I think it is choices as in the votes cast and choices as in the options available where we're missing each other.

But to support your take, yes I don't think there's any value in blaming the customers when they don't buy the product. Either you need a better product or you need better marketing or you need better value if you want the consumers to purchase.

And I guess that's where we differ a little.

I put some responsibility on the consumer.

That doesn't bother me. It is your life to live the way you want. I just don't see any value in that approach

And I see little value in removing all responsibility from the consumer. Seems like a cop out to me.

So is it safe to say you didn't like that Trump was elected?
It's not so much that I didn't like it; it's more that I felt like it was the lowest single point in American history, a national shameful embarrassment and an indictment of the human condition in general.
