Even if he winds up at Kentucky? I think Golesh is a good coach but let's not set the expectations for him that high.
I didn't say anything about Kentucky! If he gets the Florida job, he will dominate the SEC! South Georgia and Florida are loaded with talent and he's a pretty dang good coach!

I changed my tune with Golesh. I think he wants the Iowa State job if it opens up.
DILLINGHAM is the hire. Both ASU and FL have similar vibes. He can’t stay and win at ASU for too long. It’s now or never IMO.

I can see a west coast type guy or girl.

Anyone within 2000 miles of that town can smell the stretch

Kiffin would be crazy to take the Florida job…he has this problem with losing the bug games most of the time and that won’t fly for the Gator boosters/fans…Ole Miss will keep him forever if he’s consistently in the 9-3 to 11-1 range…

I don’t think Meyer really wants back in the game…Franklin just got fired because he’s always close but never the champ…doubt the Gators want that. I like Brohm but he’s home and has his program moving in the right direction - hard to leave that for a job we’re they’ll can you in 3 years if you don’t win a championship.
I wouldn’t hire Drink to be a water boy and Freeman is a close second…just my opinion

If I were making the hire it would be Golesh…and we would have a tough time with Gators…they can pay him well but probably not have to start out with a really high buy out…

It seems like a very challenging hire. It also feels like UF has to hit a home run with this hire or they're banished to football purgatory forever.

I think Kiffin will wait for a better job.
I think so too (or he may already have a better job).

The UF job is tarnished. They fired a coach winning 65% of his games to hire Mullen. They fired Mullen, winning 70% of his games to get Napier. I think a lot of coaches will not touch that job.

Much like Vol fans a few years back, that fan base is drastically overestimating what a "good job" being the Gators coach actually is.
