I’ve read most of the thoughts on this past game’s outcome. Some complaining and most supporting and arguing with fans complaing.
I personally am tired of supposed die hard fans telling people to look what happened with previous coaching hires, the dumpster fire examples, another hire might be worse, injuries are the reason, and lastly some fans are never happy. These are just my thoughts.
Are fans crazy complainers just because they want to win. Those who pay ticket prices + added fees to field a winner, buy clothing, buy hats, pay for gas and parking, pay hotel and restaurant costs. Yea CJH is winning, but do hard core fans want to see Tenn play ETSU, UAB, UTC etc. NO. Look around the stadium and it’s no where near full and lots are leaving before the 3rd quarter ends. They pay because they want to beat Ala, Ga , and Fl. They want to beat the best. Is this too much to ask for. Sure it’s nice to beat Ark and such, but in reality it’s the big 3 they want. I am not calling for firing Heupel after that loss, but if fans spend their hard earned money on supporting the team, they deserve to complain when they feel the team (coaches or players) has not held up their end. They get paid, and the fans are paying. They deserve to have their say.
Stop talking down to fans who want a winner against what they consider a great rival. Is it their fault they have that passion. Maybe those talking down are not passionate enough.

We did beat 2 of the 3 big three as you call it last year. And a road win at Oklahoma and made the CFP. Sure it won’t happen every year like we’d like. We’ve lost this year to two teams we were expected to lose to and owners of more SEC and recent national championships than any other teams. We had UGA and made too many mistakes to beat Bama on the road but in all games I see our team fight for the full 60 with no quit (like some of our “fans”)

You and others can complain all you want if that makes you happy but it’s not going to win us any more games. Your choice.

We still have an outside shot at the playoffs with much to play for this year. My choice is to cheer them on win or lose as I did at Bryant Denny Saturday night with my wife. Vol football is fun again and with our future recruiting classes trending up. Here’s to finishing 5-0 and having another great year!

I TRIED to read what you posted...getting in about THIS far ^^^...and realizing drivel is drivel...and trying to comprehend anything of value from it is futile...

Some fans are negative all the time, to the point of being ridiculous. That’s not just Tennessee fans it’s everywhere. There is absolutely nothing wrong with pointing out areas that need working on. But the ones that come with the absolutes on either side side of things aren’t looking at things objectively. Almost every team has things to work on, but some fans at bama were ready to quit watching games after week 1. Just because teams have a bad game or start of the season doesn’t mean things can’t change one way or the other. Tennessee coaches and players just need to regroup and refocus and go take care of business and finish strong. Prove the naysayer wrong, that’s been done before as well. Having said all this my thoughts on our problems are in numerous threads but I still have confidence that we will get things turned around. This team is talented enough to win out. Our fans need to be make their presence felt these remaining games left. No time to throw a pity party, it’s time to get hound dog hungry!!!! GBO

Buddy what you or I want has absolutely no bearing on what happens. The entitlement some of y’all have is unbearable. It’s scary that you are a grown man and think this way

I like the fans who constantly whine about coaching changes yet when you ask them who we should realistically hire it’s crickets. Then there the ones who keep bringing up Golesh. Does Golesh’s team have an offense as good as ours? Nope.

It's one thing to complain, It's another to make an ass out of yourself.

I THINK it’s the fan who CLEARLY takes a loss personal that makes this stuff ridiculous. It’s how they find their worth in life (I know because I once was one of these detestable people) It’s always easy to ID those folks. I have family members and close friends, like many of you, who played, coached, administration, and even officiated at the highest levels, especially the SEC. NEVER have I witnessed one of them go so over the top with a win or loss as oft done here. It’s kinda pathetic but more so hard to respect. JMO
