It's been building for a while. "Text a buddy" (opening press conference!) and increased ticket prices set the hook. All the major sports have been winning, which has kept a lid on it, but the most successful coach on campus leaving will send it boiling over.

If there is something amiss in the DW/TV relationship I'm sure DW isn't blameless (as is TV) but what I keep coming back to is how ridiculous the notion is that TV is only interested in this job because he and DW don't get along. College sports fans can be so parochial and unable to see a bigger picture sometimes. TV is taking this job even if he and DW were blood brothers.
