Tony Vitello to SF Giants (Confirmed)

Hearing this from a credible source. It’s over 700k that DW gave to the women’s basketball and took from baseball. They butted heads. DW didn’t budge. It wasn’t for TV salary but his program. TIFWIW. Also was said on the radio no post practice meeting w the team and he’s Ona plane to see the ALCS

Who said this? Because if true this feels like the nail in the coffin for our chances to keep him if he’s heading to that game.

Get this worked out. They have all kinds of money they can pull from. Boosters can help fund this. He should have the same amount of money as any of the other top programs.

CTV reportedly cancelled his trip to Toronto.

I don’t think DW realizes the **** storm he has placed himself in if TV leaves. He’s not very well liked by the common fan due to his prices. You take away the one true rock star you have over 700k and they might burn down your house
If Tony REALLY wanted to be a Vol, he wouldn’t leave over 700k, imo.

In the era of rev share, no one is going to be happy. We made Tony the highest paid coach in America a year ago.

We all know how competitive CTV is, maybe he just wants to go compete with the best? I can’t blame him if he wants to go do that

It’s definitely changed my opinion of him. Keeping Tony was always my red line. And Trey Wallace on Saturday night on Voluntary Reaction saying his sources told him people in the AD think baseball will be fine without Tony tells me they simply don’t value baseball as much as they should. Danny probably sees this as an opportunity to funnel more money into football.
