At some all great coaches evolve. Heupel has the potential to be very good if he can realize where he needs to address his main issues. He has to do better at clock management. Find somebody that is good at it to be in his ear. Just like a spotter for nascar. In the age of communication these things must improve. Quit playing scared and get the simpleton mistakes fixed. Nobody wants to hear we got to clean it up. Get it fixed. GBO! No excuse to have multiple pre snap penalties every game. GBO

The Hype will have to do some serious self reflection this offseason and make some staff and philosophy changes if he wants to get over the hump and start bringing some hardware home.

It’s a general lack of discipline and accountability. Heupel will fire himself if he doesn’t address and improve the on field performance AND OC, DC, and other staff!

I am grateful for his efforts so far in restoring us to prominence, but this is big biz and he’s getting almost $10m A YEAR to coach f’in football!

With the Tony V situation behind scenes also, I could see Randy and Donde in 2-3 years pushing Dr. Danny and Heupel out at same time.

The biggest difference i see living in Pennsylvania is Franklin wasn't very popular here. My PSU friends would often say they had no idea how he got recruits, given his personality. They appreciated that he ran a clean program, won a lot of games and was liked, not loved, by the players. But, he was always just meh for most of the fans. They aren't crying that he's gone.

On the other hand, I think tennessee fans really like CJH.

Nobody is going to push Danny White out. He is a great AD, that would be moronic. GBO
