Another disappointing performance on the road, and this time to our most hated rival. SMH. Next up, we play a team, in which this is their Super Bowl every year, and we are their most hated rival. I fully expect this to be a 4 quarter game, because this team hasn’t proven they can destroy anyone with a pulse. UK may be 2-4, but you can guarantee Stoops will have them motivated for this one. Not sure what type energy we will have. Still a lot to play for, but we have been unimpressive since Georgia. Joey is banged up…will he be able to play? No one will know until Sat night, as I’m sure he will be listed as questionable come Wednesday. No keys to the game for me, because they don’t matter. The key is Heupel finding his aggressive style that he brought to Tennessee when he was hired, and then matching a DC to that style when the season ends.

KY - 23
Vols - 27

Feels like Vols may struggle to find end zone. Early and mid season injuries are hurting, team is reeling, Joey probably having flashbacks from Super Fly Snukahed in rhe end zone.

We really miss Alex Golesh's temperament.

Anyway, no other staff id rather have.

Vols - 60
Mildcats - 20

Only win by 40 this time.

*We should get a fair whistle because this game means nothing to Birmingham.

Just win!

We'll get their best effort 100%. If we cant just line up and impose, then i'll be concerned.

Dont care how it looks, just win.

I refuse to believe a staff that got us to playoffs, beat Bama and Florida all of a sudden forgot how to coach.

Give me a break. Go beat Kentucky.

TX couldn’t just line up and impose from a physical standpoint. And really never should expect to do that vs UK or any SEC team these days.

But they can’t score with Vols.

Texas OL is Tex-ass. It isnt good.

Ill say we need to work on Red Zone plays, esp when the big play isnt there. Perhaps dial up some I formation, or different looks from ze Pistole.

Whatever the path they choose should involve Star Thomas and Bishop.

I know lots of people enjoy a closely fought, competitive game.

May be in the minority here. I enjoy a blow out. In fact, I enjoy a 60-20 ball game more than 50-49. Kentucky is gonna have another L
The only way this game is not a blow out win for UT is if the offense plays a crap game like they did against bama with dumb TOs. Establish the run and hit open guys on play action. If we can't get somewhat right on defense in this game, then it will never happen the rest of the season. Expect UK to score more than 13 (probably 20) but UT will absolutely score more than 30. Heupel outcoaches Stoops once again.

Is it too much to ask to play against an SEC team that has completely laid down for once? Kentucky is 2-4 with a head coach who does not want to be there and coming off a sorely disappointing home loss. This should be an easy win. And yet I fully expect them to come out with their hair on fire and make it a tough game.

I’m just ready to finally play against a bad SEC team that has quit. We keep getting everyone’s best shot, even bad teams.
