A 50 point turnaround, amazing. So we win by 25 and they comeback and win by exactly 25 in the halfcourt. I guess it happened but wow getting the exact same number of points that you win by twice back to back is totally amazing wouldn't happen very often.
Lucky for us we don't have any half court games scheduled.
What was the point of the scrimmage if NC didn't want to play their starters. Are they just helping the Lady Vols? Seems quite dumb not to play the players your going to depend on in the regular season or evidently they do not need to get better. Lot of odd information coming out of this scrimmage for sure.FYI UNC did not utilize any starters. This leads me to believe the game's outcome might not be a reliable indicator of the Lady Vols current form and standing. But the LadyVols did win by 25+ over 3 quarters and they played 1 quarter of half court ball in which the LadyVols won as well
This is what my sources informed to me as well...and from what I understand there was no prior agreement to a partial game format.FYI UNC did not utilize any starters. But the LadyVols did win by 25+ over 3 quarters and they played 1 quarter of half court ball in which the LadyVols won as well
I am told they were given the format by unc once they got there and did not know beforehand that it would not be a full scrimmage... Nor did they know beforehand that they would not be playing starters initially. It seems strange that the Lady Vols would want to travel for such a scrimmage. Seems a waste for them, and also for UNC.
Was the clip from the start of this scrimmage?...starter?

We are not that far away from the Carson-Newman game and then everyone can over react to the exhibition game. The majority of this thread perfectly illustrates why coaches would prefer to keep fans out of these things. Fans are crazy, and they often read too much into every little silly thing. Itās what fans do, but itās still crazy as hell.![]()

Coach has good contacts, but I was told that everyone may not have been aware of the plan, but it was not necessarily a āsurpriseā there was a portion focused on situations, rather than a full end to end quarter. The event was set up by a staff member that recently left the program for a conference-level job, who was a UNC alum. Perhaps some parameters changed after that personās departure that were not fully communicated. But again, I was told the head coach was not āsurprised.āI am told they were given the format by unc once they got there and did not know beforehand that it would not be a full scrimmage... Coach banghart has followed me for several years... I just DMed her,,, "really?"...
I strongly suggest you ignore this type of question @LadyVolFan1979 you're source was good...Let's leave it at thatAnd where did you get this information?
So KnoxLikeUs was pretty much right this entire time?Coach has good contacts, but I was told that everyone may not have been aware of the plan, but it was not necessarily a āsurpriseā there was a portion focused on situations, rather than a full end to end quarter. UNC held out a couple of players with minor injury concerns, but so did Tennessee. I donāt think itās completely accurate to say UNC did not play its starters, I think thatās a little bit of spin from their side that has been present in past years, as someone else noted.
Uhm, no. If youāre going to make this information public, itās fair game for questions.I strongly suggest you ignore this type of question @LadyVolFan1979 you're source was good...Let's leave it at that
