Is it the "we're still a young team" and "we need to build depth" that you're yapping about? If it flusters you so, you could've just asked me. We're still young and we need to build depth. :wink2: Since we "don't think winning games is a goal". :eek:k:

How many seasons did Fulmer throw up the numbers of starters missing X amount of quarters? Seems I remember two years then a caller on the weekly call in show called him out on it and he stopped that excuse.

Injuries supposedly happen to every team. But, not every team has a Darrel Dickey or Travis Henry and Travis Stephens.

Using the search feature to find threads related to “excuses” and this old dandy popped up among others. I guess VN has always had excuses as to why we can’t win. Now the excuse is the refs or defense coaching or our heavy set head football coach or, as with this thread, depth is the reason (excuse) again.

Now, a couple of years ago it was because a Michigan staffer scouted one of our games. I personally liked that excuse.

Why do we always find excuses?

What's really funny is the same idiots argue with those idiots about the same crap year after year...and act like its important. Not to mention they call each other idiots despite not knowing anything at all about them personally.

Was it under Butch that we had high attrition year after year or am I thinking different. Reading your post above just reminded me of that. If that’s the case, I find it ironic he would supposedly bring in top recruits then run them off.

If you’d told me before the game Bama leading rusher would be their WR with less than 50 yds, their offense would be under 50% on 3rd down & score 28 pts, I’d said “ok”.

The only thing consistent about this offense is they’ll screw up somewhere if you make them run a few plays. Halze needs to get tough or prepare for a jr high PE career.
