With there being so many head coaching vacancies we could really make a run in the portal. Also consider that recruits leave teams that keep losing horrendously like an FSU.

Think about all the teams that will probably have an opening or that already do:

1. Penn state
2. Florida
3. Maybe Auburn
4. Maybe Oklahoma if OU keeps losing.
5. Maybe Florida state
6. Arkansas
7. Maybe USC but doubtful however who knows how long they give Lincoln Riley.
8. UCLA maybe we can get Nico back!!!!
9. Nebraska if Rhule leaves for PSU.
10. Maybe LSU

Oh so you mean discipline? Almost like maybe not looking like a slob could potentially carry over into multiple facets of your life and career? Weird how things coincide sometimes.

Yes, that! The guy's such a loser in life! I mean, I'm pretty sure he's topped out at 9 mil a year!

I agree! But we would be remiss not actively seek out experienced quality players. Especially linebackers and D linemen. We need more depth. Also let’s grab another stud WR.

Do McCoy and Gibson have eligibility after this year? Can they potentially come back?

McCoy likely goes into the draft and probably should unless NFL scouts are turned off about him not playing (McCoy playing this year and looking good would help his NFL stock).

Not sure about Gibson. He is good, but not NFL high pick good. He probably needs to return for another year.

One thing that I've noticed (and surprised by) is utilizing the portal to obtain experienced players seems to be more successful than developing in-house talent. It's gotten to the point recruiting other school's players is a more valuable proposition.

I don't have any research to back this up - just my stupendous observational skills.

Oklahoma is 6-1 so not sure what you mean by keeps losing?

Teams really make a run in the portal every year. This year won’t be any different.

We’ll make a slow jog as usual
