They are drunk frat boy types who are young so they think he's cool the way he gets underage girls he cheats with drunk
Lulz.

You saying they have a man crush on him? Speaking of, were you around for the Kiffin Man Crush thread in 09? Lol. That was a crazy year.

I don't hate him I just don't care for him and don't think hes a great HC. Hes matured in the last couple of years and I can respect him getting his personal life in order. But Id never want him at Tennessee.

We’ve got the players but they’re injured. I think the season looks a lot different with McCoy and Gibson

Sorry, but this team has a LOT more issues than a couple of missing CBs. I think most would say the offense is doing better than the defense (maybe). However, the offense gets cold almost as much as it gets hot.
Dropped passes, late throws, missed blocked, penalties, keep occurring each week. The defense just can't put together enough good plays to get off the field. This team seems more concerned about a TFL than just getting a tackle. Two TFL and then a 20 yard run or pass just doesn't cut it. Its the same every week regardless of the team.

I thought Kentucky was a fairly safe win, but now I think it will go down to the last few minutes to decide the winner. OU, Vandy are looking most likely as two more losses. Florida probably will also be a loss.

I just think Vols are and have lacked a killer instinct. They let bama and uga stomp in us year in and year out. We haven't seen FL yet, you might as well add them to this list. No killer instinct.
I don’t understand this either, you got to play with some emotion and fire. You should be able to do both. At some point you got to fight, the great teams go make their breaks stay hungry and expect to win and never let up. But I disagree on one thing, this team can still win out. We just got to do the basic things better. GBO

I'd just like to get Jermod McCoy back. That's it. The gap isn't that big.

Two evenly matched ball clubs last night.

14-point swing before the half and they got the ball. You don’t come back from that. I got up from the party said my goodnights and was out.

It’s like some of y’all watch ball with your emotions, but don’t know ball at all.

We’re on the top shelf of this conference, but we took an L last night. It happens. 🤷🏻‍♂️

See generally The Film Guy, 38:00 - 41:00.

It’s Bama, Georgia, Ole Miss, A&M, Vandy, and UT.

Put down the torches and pitchforks y’all.

So often when we faced a Spurrier team, I felt like we had as good if not better talent than what he fielded, but Spurrier just was a master at understanding the weaknesses of other teams and exploiting them. We (all) hated Spurrier but to this day, he was one of the greatest field time coaches I have ever witnessed. Agree. Coaching matters, and that is why every remaining SEC game will be utterly trench warfare. Go Vols
Recruiting rankings didn't take into account the depth of Florida in-state talent back then, in my opinion. Those Gator teams were great. Note the large amount of SEC titles won.
Yes, Spurrier was a great coach and excellent offensive mind. But they were stacked everywhere. And most of it was homegrown players, whereas our roster from the time was nationwide (as it had to be).

Vandy is doing it with 2-3 stars at best…
They're the oldest team in the league but yeah they are doing it with classes that were probably ranked in the 50-80's.. Coaching does matter.. In today's college football i think coaching is now more important than ever. You just can't run waves of 4 and 5 stars at teams anymore til you wear them down. No one has that type of depth anymore. NIL and tranfer portal has created more parity.

We were a dumpster fire in the offseason and people are shocked that the offense goes cold and doesn’t play like 5th year starters.

Classic VN.
Lol.. This is very true.. They don't like losing to all their big rivals in the same year. Problem is 2 out of 3 are usually among the best teams in America. It's a tough neighborhood.

I don’t like it either. But I’m smart enough to see what’s going on. We’re 2-2 vs bama in the last 4. A missed FG from beating Ga after the dumpster fire offseason where some press was saying we only win 6. This was supposed to be a year where we might not make a bowl and we’re post bama with an outside shot at the playoffs.
We’ve actually overachieved.

Everyone got excited when Joey actually ran the offense that Heupel brought here better than the 2 million dollar guy that thought he was worth 4 million. Truth is. With or without that cat it was always going to be a 8 or 9 win team.. Lost too much defensively and changed too many parts offensively to expect much more than that. Schedule got tougher this year too. Tougher road games imo and it's not over.

It’s not been the losing this year. It’s been how we lost. I take Ls pretty well if the other team is better and we just get beat in a hard fought game. We have done absolutely everything we could to F up and lose both games, and succeeded. The worst part of that is feeling like coaching had a hand in it.
