All of these folks still talking about the playoffs must of watched a different game last night than I did! We looked like a team coached by Butch Jones! Definitely regression! Forget the playoffs I just hope we don’t get embarrassed again in Gainesville or my Vandy?

You’re letting your bias and Vandy’s history jade your opinion. I doubt we are favored against Vandy. They’ve looked better than us all year. Hey, I get it. We hate Vandy, Vandy sucks they can’t be better than us. This year, they just might be.

We will be a touchdown favorite over Vandy with the game being in Neyland and the fact we have a 4 year streak in Neyland going.

I feel like Oklahoma would likely be favored over Tennessee at this point

At the end of the day, polls are only politics based on opinion. Anyone can beat anyone on any given day. The polls be damned.

Probably about right without getting into the teams ranked above them.

We’re probably about a top twelve to fifteen team this year. We can beat about anyone on a given night but don’t have the discipline or consistency to win against elite opponents week in and out. This team still could sneak into the playoffs but we’re going to need help and we have to clean up some stuff or there’s still one or two losses on the schedule.

TAMU sucks….gave up 500yds and 42 points to Arkansas….only won by 3….

The Citrus bowl is not...they will take us at 10-2 or 9-3 if we don't get in playoff

Mayo bowl is only if we go 8-4 and even then i still the Florida bowls would take us

Never said the Citrus Bowl was. But “a Florida bowl vs the Big Ten” implies that you were saying more than just the Citrus Bowl.

Also when you get to the Taxslayer Gator/Reliaquest/Music City/Texas/Liberty/Mayo Bowl level, the conference offices make the decisions on who goes where now.

Texas A@M barely beat Arky by a field goal. They nearly lost, the Vols can win out. GBO

the SEC and Danny white and the bowls would never allow a 9-3 Tennessee team slip to the Music City, Texas or Liberty Bowls

I think the stars would have to align for us to go to Mayo...either 8-4 or a dynamic matchup (like vs a 10-3 Ga Tech or Miami team)

If we don't make the playoffs I want another dominant win over the Big Ten or ACC....

Vols fan in Aggieland. I’ve been watching the Aggies for more than 50 years. When Tennessee was having a November to remember, the Aggies were usually having one to forget. I have to see if first before I think they’re the real thing.

It really don’t matter who is favored, but espn Vegas odds chart showed Tennessee being favored in every game. By the time they play it could change. What I was getting at is Tennessee has the ability to win them all. SEC games are tough but it isn’t like we can’t do it either. We have to get a few things corrected and improved, but most are at this point. GBO

We are a bad football team. The sooner you accept it the better you will be. We are out of the playoffs so who cares how we finish. Hope Joey does well for the nfl resume

I didn’t mean it as a slight to A@M, more about how folks thinking us only winning by 3 against Arkansas was horrible and A&M has equal amount of trouble. Arkansas isn’t a team I would want to face down the stretch, they’re going to upset somebody.
