I have watched the replay, the ball was thrown in front of the LOS and it was about a yard in front of it. Was a good call. I am hating that crap to the sideline play. Good teams are reading it and blowing it up.

Elite dline and corners together made that defense what it was. We’re missing only one of those from last year and look what’s goin on. To not see that means you don’t understand ball.

What’s your explanation for that 3rd and 2 call where the LBs were running 15 yards downfield as soon as the ball snaps and the nickel blitzes from deep leaving that hole in the defense at the sticks? A simple cover 1 hole shuts that down and if they beat you over the top then so be it at least you don’t give up an easy first. And Ty wasn’t even looking to throw deep. That whole play from Bama was a distraction to get that TE open cause Banks is so predictable for opposing teams.

How long will it be until the Florida fan base comes to terms with exactly where they are right now as a program?

That’s fair. From that perspective, I think as essentially a first year player he’s been decent. Expect him to take a big jump next year assuming he becomes more consistent.

Yeah Staley is carving out the Hyatt role. But he’s not going to stretch the perimeter like MM could. Doesn’t have the same type of natural athleticism (and before you fight me on that I mean things like length/range/body control/jump ball potential/etc). Could he be more productive statistically, sure. More dependable, sure. But he’s not a guy like brazzell or hopefully MM who could draw a safety over the top due to perimeter jump ball potential. MM still just scratching the surface.

He is very raw as a receiver. He has amazing potential. Just very young for the position. Hope we get to see him progress. He has to work work work.

I don’t want Golesh in The Swamp. And if he does end up there, then we’re very lucky we don’t have to play them every year.

He really knows how to fire up his players and his offensive playcalling is super creative. Wish he was still here to help Heupel with his in game analysis and play calling cause Joey has been a huge drop off. This year the offense has been rolling due to Heupel evolving his scheme but he needs better help in the booth during games that can see things better like Golesh did.

No, I am bringing up the Broyles award to illustrate the reaction that fans would have had at the time about Banks leaving. Most fans were glad we didn't lose him.

I don't think Banks is irreplaceable. But I also don't think if you plug someone else in there the results would look much different at all.

Bob Shoop was a Broyles finalist at Mississippi state. He is now an analyst at Vandy.

My opinion: TV wants giants to pay his buyout (3m). If rumor is true that they’re offering 8m per year and roster control, they won’t pay the buyout. If they did, the GM is neutering himself PLUS paying an insane amount of money. I find it doubtful it happens
