I think Franklin taking that Penn State job when he did was a bold move. It's literally paid off for him though.

But I don't think he wants to be in the SEC again, and Penn State was one of the most "protected" Big 10 jobs around (they always have a favorable schedule and only get tested once or twice normally).

No clue where he ends up, but based on the sort of expectations he seems to prefer I wouldn't be shocked at all if OK State is a spot he'd land.

They can pay as well as anyone else, pretty solid location for recruiting considering all the talent around the state, in a conference where you can thrive and likely only face 2 or 3 really tough teams every year and the bar for success isn't really that high there. It took Gundy going 3-9 and starting 1-2 before they were done with him. Franklin likely wins 8+ every year there.
UCLA.....

Anyone have a clip of that?
The official puts his arm out to signal that it was not a backward pass, but if anything, Brazzell was a half step beyond the LOS. Not sure Staley was engaged yet with his blocker. It was just ticky tack and something we seem to get called on a few times per season.

Recruiting at UF is not easy with them being a dump and Miami being a top team with FSU also making a new hire. . . not to mention USF, UCF, etc. . .
Even Billy has them 12th in talent the last 2 years. Worst coach in decades and they still outrecruit us. Not bc of him. That state just has an overabundance of talent spewing from it.

Plus Staley didn't actively seek him out. The defender ran into Staley and he simply stood his ground and engaged him. Is he required to move out of the defenders way?

Ya I pretty much never see that called either, wanted to see a replay to slow it down but can't find it.

Still cant get over Ty Simpson standing 6 yards deep in his own endzone taking a snap and Tim Banks legitimately playing his corners 10 yards off. Dude is garbage.

99 yard TD drive btw in a crucial time.

Yup. Talent is the only reason the defense was good last year. Just the cold hard truth.

I didnt notice him on the field much after that, but maybe he was. That was a brain-dead play. Always recover something like that, even if it's probably incomplete.
Bingo. There's another 14 pt swing.

What a stupid **** game. Outgain them, inside Tuscaloosa, and yet they're the ones lighting up with 3 mins to go. Just ridiculous. Never should have gone that way. We played them too close play for play. Smh

Can't wait to return the favor next year.
