Heupel’s weight and facial scruff

Offense is #1 in the country, head coach who runs offense has had top 10 offenses every year except one in a decade.

"yea but remember that bad playcall that didn't work?"
Ricky, not difficult to have those stats when running up the score on the ETSU’s, Kent State’s and UT Martin’s of college football.

He can at moments and then has certain situations that are reoccurring major issues. Mainly with time management.

I think he needs to make some staff changes. If he doesn't it might ultimately do him in like it did Fulmer. He has to bring in some top notch quality coordinators and just let them coach man. Just simply let them coach.

He will never do this. I don’t think he’s ever let a coach go in his entire career as a HC.

I’m among those who believe there is a relationship between Heupel’s sloppy appearance and this team’s sloppy play. Contrast Clark Lea’s groomed and in shape appearance. His team plays with discipline and focus. Tennessee has better talent, but Vanderbilt is the better team.

of all the top coaches in college football, how many are significantly out of shape. i’m thinking of 7 guys (Lanning, Smart, Deboer, Kiffin, Day, Indiana, Franklin) and they’re all in shape. need some help identifying these examples you speak of. Lea, Sark, Venables, Beamer, Riley, all in shape. i can’t even think of 1 great coach who isn’t
Kirby ain’t missing many meals. Lane was trolling him about that this week.

What does being in shape have to do with anything?

He can benefit from some yoga.

It’s no secret that people who make positive lifestyle changes in diet and exercise see overall improvements in their day to day quality of life.

I’m generally pro healthy lifestyle changes. Bret Beilema was trimmed down guy when he was at Wisconsin. You can’t tell me his blow up the last 7 years or so hasn’t negatively impacted his health and well being.

You sure as hell can’t say that these types of lifestyle choices aren’t a symptom of complacency.

More important what’s on the inside of course it never hurts to shed a few pounds nor shave periodically but hey his life.

seems like you gonna question him no matter what. what is your infatuation with heupel? its weird you putting so much energy into what he looks like. with that being said i hope you are a female because men dont do this. that silly nonsense is very feminine
He’s a leader making millions. He’s in fact going to get questioned. I don’t care about his appearance. It just so happens his appearance reflects his traits. You obviously don’t understand leadership. Teams reflect leaders. Our team has 0 discipline. That starts at the top whether in relation to eating donuts, getting to facilities early, working hard, or committing a false start.

I suggest you take up reading. Leadership matters. Some of the best leaders in history didn’t have the best teams, warriors, soldiers, players, or resources. It was what they could do with what they had that set them apart.

I have 0 hatred for the guy. He’s a good coach. The question is can he get past “good”? If he can’t dig deep and make some changes my opinion is no. Being loyal is great, but if we don’t see some coaches walking at the end of the season, then he doesn’t have what it takes.
