The Atlanta Braves

Inge is about to have a room of highly touted 4 stars so willing to see that one out but Willie gotta go and they need someone over safeties other than Banks

Can’t believe Perlotte smacked that ball on the fumble recovery. If he picks it up or lets Josephs immediately get it, it’s either 6 or ball in the red zone

Freshman and looked like a weird incomplete pass. He won’t do it again I bet

I feel like our LB’s next year have a chance to be our O-Line. Yeah on paper it looks like your losing starters but it’s actually for the best with Harmon/Perlotte/Spillman get more time

And Banks

I’m not out on him yet. I’m frustrated by the third down defense and the inconsistency but I think losing McCoy and Gibson has changed his game plans.

Go watch how aggressive we played Syracuse vs now in the backfield.

At absolute best case Profar is a wash. Played pretty well for about 50 of the 80 games but you absolutely cannot over look him being suspended for a half the season lol and not available for the postseason (if we didn’t suck)

Also he is basically a year away from being Evan Gattis in the outfield

I'm not opposed to staff turnover. But isn't Willie at least partially responsible for Hood and McCoy? Gibson was also very good last year.

McCoy and Hood were good players prior. Gibson is one

I think someone needs to see the entire secondary. I think it’s a waste to break it up and the groups clearly don’t communicate well

All I care about at this moment baseball wise is FINALLY signing Kyle Schwarber. That’s it.
You want to sign a guy coming off a career year who combined to hit .221 the previous 3 seasons and cannot play any position except DH. And oh yeah , he's seeking a 5 year deal around 30 million annually.

And your calling Profar a terrible move??? Lol

I haven't paid much attention, but how often does a DC coach a position group.

Banks might need to give up that responsibility

It is frustrating how Heup obsesses over the offense’s adaption and making it more difficult to defend every single year and the defense fluctuates.

I doubt we’ll ever field an elite defense with an elite offense but they have to get stops

Sometimes, you just need a different voice. I don’t think Willy is that bad, but it’s probably time to try and improve that spot
